Conference table made of BauBuche

Another project by the Bad Wildungen Holzfachschule students was the creation of a conference table. The comfortable work surface spans 3.5 metres, and the table’s unique look creates a pleasant working atmosphere.

As the final part of his training to become a master joiner, Benedikt Schuhmann created an item of furniture using BauBuche Panel which, despite its striking design, offers a huge amount of storage space. The carcass behind the front of the service counter accommodates various drawers and a sliding door, thus providing space for all important documents.
In addition to the front face of the counter, BauBuche Panel was also used as a work surface and for the drawer handles. Benedikt Schuhmann is impressed by this material: “I chose BauBuche due to its striped design. The material is new on the market and immediately arouses interest – that’s far from commonplace in the carpentry sector,” explained Schuhmann. BauBuche also gets his seal of approval when it comes to processing: “There is nothing negative to report here. Yes, of course it is evident that the material is still working, but from a carpentry perspective this cannot be avoided with wood.”

Vocational college final

For his final project, Karsten S. drew up a concept for the re-design of the common room at his vocational college.
