Redheart Beech

Redheart beech, lightly steamed.

The solid wood panels made of redheart beech have no visible surface defects on the face (side A), and they comprise laminations with and without brownheart or redheart, sorted for homogeneous colour. The back (side B) is also free of visible defects, and comprises laminations with and without brownheart and redheart, but is not sorted according to colour.

Wood species: German beechwood / redheart beech – lightly steamed
Moisture content: 7 – 9 %
Version: with end-to-end lamellas
Glueing: Stress group D 3 (Interiour use with frequent short-term exposure to running water or condensation water and/or long-term exposure to high atmospheric humidity. Exteriour use if protected from weather), technically flawless glueing, butt joined and glued with white glue PVAC, free from formaldehyde
Finish: grit 80
Tolerances: +/- 5 mm length or width, +/- 0,3 mm thickness
Diagonal stability: max. 2,5 mm warpage per meter
Quantities delivered: Over- / underdelivery max. 10% per item
Minimum order quantity: approx. 30 pcs per dimension
Packaging: panels,, on euro-pallet (on loan), foil-wrapped, secured by straps

Side A

(Face without visible surface defects, lamellas with or without brown
and redheart and sorted for homogeneous colour.)

Permitted features:

solid wood sound knots
isolated closed small knots up to Ø 3 mm
sporadic discolorations or mineral spots, becoming visible after sanding
(50 mm long and 3 mm wide)
sporadic lamellas with diminishing redheart
sporadic lamellas without redheart

The grading of the back side in non-visible areas will be discussed individually with the customer.

Side B

(Back side without visible surface defects, lamellas with or without
brown and redheart)

Additionally permitted features:

small knots up to a Ø 5 mm
isolated discolorations and mineral spots appearing after sanding
no colour requirements
sporadic blue stains caused by water

The grading of the back side in non-visible areas will be discussed individually
with the customer.
