Rodighiero Gioielli s.r.l., Biella, Italy

The jewellery firm Rodighiero Gioielli from Biella in Italy has extended its sales premises by adding another room dedicated to the PANDORA brand, which has been popular in the small Italian town since the 1950s. The interior designer is Gian Luca Bazzan (Atelier Bazzan) who set out to create a room that emphasises the unique character of the PANDORA brand.

Project information

While the existing shop interior is panelled in cherry wood, Gian Luca Bazzan decided to design the extension in BauBuche. He was impressed by the sustainability of the beech laminated veneer lumber and particularly loved its texture, which gives the new room a natural look and creates an exciting contrast to the minimalist straight lines and geometrical shapes of the furniture and fixtures.

BauBuche combines excellent strength properties with an aesthetically pleasing finish and is thus the perfect material for my contemporary designs. I particularly love the warmth and unique texture of BauBuche. It is not only me who has been won over, as my customers tell me that they love the new shop interior.
