The positive effect of wood in homes and workplaces has been proven in various scientific studies. This natural material was therefore the obvious choice for the refurbishment of the Pharmacie de la Mairie. Together with their interior architect, the Mescams were looking for a material that would be durable, lasting and of course sustainable. BauBuche with its unique look, colour and texture, and especially its fine lines was thus the obvious choice.

BauBuche is the dominant feature of the entire design – from the free-standing shelving units and wall racks to the ceiling and wall panelling. The stylish sales counter and the wheelchair ramp are beautifully integrated design elements that catch the eye. Customers appreciate the fact that the refurbishment also made the pharmacy wheelchair-accessible.
