Berghain is one of the most famous techno clubs in the world and is located in a former combined heat and power station in Berlin. Exposed, grey reinforced concrete, solid iron stairways and darkened windows create the setting for the city’s hottest parties.
48 large and small benches

Pollmeier, D-99831 Amt Creuzburg
Berghain plays host to various evening events during the week for which seating is required. The requirements are exacting: the seats have to be robust, space-saving, stackable, capable of being arranged variably and, of course, great to look at.
The 2015 pop culture festival which took place in Berghain provided the perfect opportunity to create appropriate seating for this location. Based on the design by Studio Karhard, a total of 48 benches in a variety of sizes were produced which can be joined together by means of a push-fit system to suit requirements. The furniture has remained in Berghain following the festival.
