The CemCel room module is the brainchild of design students at the Bauhaus University of Weimar. The modular building was constructed as part of a research and teaching project and will soon house workplaces. The timber frame construction made in BauBuche has already been erected. The interior CemCel walls and ceiling will be clad in BauBuche panels, combined with a BauBuche floor.

The interior design concept of the TOOLBOX was developed in multidisciplinary seminars organised by Katharina Bonhag-De Rosa (Architecture) and Meike Langer (Product Design) for students at their two departments. It provides an attractive environment for multidisciplinary group work and can be leased by other departments. The room is rented unfurnished but can be equipped with all types of furniture from the TOOLBOX.
With the TOOLBOX items as practical assembly furniture made in BauBuche, the students have upgraded the room module to serve as a proper group work facility. The tables and stools can be assembled in minutes and stowed away in a built-in sideboard when no longer needed. The large tables are designed for group work, while the small tables serve as single workplaces. With the TOOLBOX, the room can be furnished in minutes to suit any group project.
